C-TACK ™ Performance Grip Material is a Cutters exclusive. Other gloves may look similar, but C-TACK ™ is the only one where the grip is part of the material. Our technology is a trade secret.
This innovation not only creates an extremely high grip, but a grip that is actually self-restoring and performs in all weather conditions. When your Cutters Gloves get dirty, simply machine wash or wipe down with a damp towel and your grip will be restored.

Safety & Protection
A separate independent study compared the safety and performance of leading padded football gloves. The study measured the peak load to bend a player's hand backwards in a simulated blocking and tackling maneuver. The results show that Cutters' Gauntlet has stronger wrist and hand protection than the competition.
Reinforcer System™. Cutters' exclusive, patent-pending Reinforcer System™ provides the ultimate in protection and performance. Often prescribed by team physicians, the Reinforcer has a proprietary system that allows full forward finger flexion and prevents fingers from hyper-extending. This minimizes the risk of injury while blocking and tackling.
SAM Medical. SAM Splints are known by athletic trainers and medical professionals as a "must have" to treat and prevent injuries. Cutters has teamed with SAM Medical to include a set of SAM Splints with several styles of Cutters Gloves. Each of these gloves is designed with a thumb pocket so that the splints can be easily inserted and removed. The splints provide added thumb protection by minimizing hyperextension, allowing players to play with more confidence when blocking and tackling.
